Heatwave Half Marathon - Tampa

The Heatwave Half Marathon in Tampa is a multi-distance running event held during the summer months. The event features a variety of paved course options and activities for participants of different ages and interests.

The event offers several distinct race distances and categories:

• 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay)

• 1 Mile
• Kids Dash (50 meters)

The 13.1 Miles, 10K, and 5K events use chip-timing technology to provide live results and participant awards. The 1 Mile run and the Kids Dash are untimed events. The Kids Dash is specifically designed for children aged 10 and under. For the half marathon relay, teams can consist of any number of participants, though each member must register individually.

Participants across the timed distances receive a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. To help runners manage the summer heat, free ice cream is provided at the finish line. Professional event photos are also made available to participants at no additional cost. For those unable to attend the physical location in Tampa, a virtual race option is available, allowing runners to complete their chosen distance at any location.
