Bobcat is a trail running event at Burr Oak Lodge, 10660 Burr Oak Lodge Rd, Glouster, Ohio. The event offers two distances:

• Marathon
• Half Marathon

The race is part of the Ohio Endurance Series. Donations support Burr Oak Alive. RaceJoy will be available for live GPS tracking and progress alerts. Swag includes a triblend tee with the Bobcat Trail Marathon logo and a finisher medal. Awards include top 3 overall male and female and top 3 male and female in 5-year age groups from 24 & under through 70 & over.

Course and logistics

The marathon is a single-loop course that is about 90% trail and 10% asphalt. The half marathon is a point-to-point on the same trails. Course features include rolling hills, several creek crossings, and sections of the Buckeye Trail. The route will be marked. Aid station details are listed as TBD.

Packet pickup takes place at Burr Oak Lodge and at the Shelter House at Dock 4 Marina (half marathon start). Half marathon participants start at Dock 4 Marina, 5250 Beach Rd, roughly a 25 minute drive from the lodge; there is parking at the marina and a lodge shuttle is available for lodge guests with advance reservation. Marathon participants start and finish at Burr Oak Lodge. Lodging is available at Burr Oak Lodge with a race room block and typical two-night requirement.
