Blackwater 10 Mile Trail Run : event overview

The Blackwater 10 Mile Trail Run is scheduled for March 21, 2026 and is organized by Run Pensacola. The event is a point-to-point trail run of 10 miles along the Juniper Creek Trail. The finish area and main event operations are at Blackwater State Park, 7720 Deaton Bridge Road.

Entry, packet pickup and fees

Packet pickup is available on Friday, March 20 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Running Wild, and on Saturday, March 21 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. at Blackwater State Park. Registration prices listed are:

  • On or before 11/26/2026: $50
  • Between 11/27/2026 and 2/28/2026: $65
  • After 3/1/2026: $80

Every registrant receives a finisher’s medal and a t-shirt. Awards are provided for top finishers. Entries may be transferred to another person up to two weeks before the event; participants must contact the organizer to arrange a transfer.

Logistics and course details

Participants should park at the finish line at Blackwater State Park and will be transported by bus to the start. Do not pay at the park gate on arrival; check in at the Running Wild table no later than 7:15 a.m. prior to bus loading. Buses depart promptly at 7:20 a.m. The course includes three aid stations offering water and an electrolyte drink. A course time limit of 2.5 hours applies. A course map is provided by the organizer.
