Black Bear Run 6K/12K
The Black Bear Run is an annual road-and-trail event held in Engadine, Michigan, at W13920 Melville Street. The course runs through the Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club and combines pavement and gravel surfaces, following scenic trails in the area.
The event includes the following distances:
- 6K Run
- 12K Run
- 6K Walk
The 12K begins at Engadine High School. 6K participants are transported to their start area by bus, and return buses to the high school are provided. Each participant receives a dry-fit t-shirt.
Awards include trophies for overall winners and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals for male and female winners in each event and age division. Age divisions are: 10 and under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
