Course, logistics and rules
The course starts and finishes on the gravel path between the playground and the pavilion inside Rockburn Park. The route uses packed gravel and natural surface trail, with a small paved section. The 5 Miler is one loop; the 10 Miler is the same loop run twice. There are no water stations on the 5 mile loop; one water station is at mile 5.1. Porta-potties are available at the start/finish; there are no bathrooms on the run course.
Relay teams allow only one runner on the course at a time; teams exchange at the designated 2nd loop bump area. All 10 Miler runners must reach mile 5 within 1 hour and 40 minutes to continue. Wave starts are assigned by expected pace. Bib transfers are not permitted, and pets, strollers, in-line skates, bicycles and other non-official wheeled vehicles are prohibited. Awards are given to top finishers overall, top non-binary finishers, age-group top 3, and relay categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
