The Bewl Water event is a bi-annual race series that starts near the Bewl Water Visitor Centre in Lamberhurst, Kent. Routes follow the reservoir and run on a combination of undulating rural wooded trail and some quiet country lanes, with views of the lake for much of the course. The organiser lists events on multiple dates, including 13th September 2025, 13th June 2026 and 12th September 2026.

  • 10 km - out-and-back approximately 3.1 miles; turnaround marshalled; 2.5 hour time limit
  • Half Marathon (13.1 mile) - initial 0.6 mile loop then one 12.5 mile loop; 6 hour time limit
  • Marathon (26.5 mile) - initial 1 mile loop then two 12.5 mile loops; 7.15 hour time limit
  • Ultra 50 km (31.25 mile) - two 12.5 mile loops followed by a final 6.25 mile loop; 8 hour time limit

Distances were measured using a Garmin Fenix 6X Pro-Solar watch and are described as as accurate as trail races can be; the marathon is noted as slightly longer than a standard 26.2 mile distance.
