Berry Mountain Trail Challenge

Millersburg, United States • 31 May 2025

The Berry Mountain Backyard Trail Challenge is a 12-hour endurance event held in Millersburg, Pennsylvania. Participants run, hike, or crawl as many loops as possible on a 2.36-mile trail featuring 780 feet of elevation gain per loop. The course includes rocky dirt logging roads, singletrack trails, and a short paved section, with a notable two-tiered climb to Berry Mountain's ridge.

Aid stations provide a variety of food, snacks, and hydration, including a summit cache. The event fosters a supportive atmosphere with camping, a post-race fire, and a small after-party. While not a race, top male and female finishers receive recognition as King and Queen of the Mountain. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
