Benarty Gala Trail Race

Lochgelly, United Kingdom • 29 Jun 2025

The Benarty Gala Trail Race is a scenic 5-mile trail run held at Lochore Meadows Country Park in Fife, Scotland. The course starts and finishes near the Lochore Meadows parkrun area, following trails along the southern shores of the loch with views of Benarty Hill, then looping through Harran Hill Woods before returning alongside the loch. The route can be muddy, so trail shoes are recommended.

The event offers a family-friendly atmosphere with a Gala Day featuring a parade, pipe bands, children's rides, and craft stalls. All finishers receive medals, and prizes are awarded across various age categories and local runners. Facilities include a café, toilets, and parking at the race HQ.
