Beaver Flat 50
Stewart Valley, Canada • 13 Sep 2025
The Beaver Flat 50 is a challenging 50-kilometer trail ultramarathon held at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park, Saskatchewan. Known for its tough terrain, the course features over 2,300 meters (7,500 feet) of vertical gain on narrow animal trails, including hills, rocks, sand, and natural obstacles like cacti and snakes. The race tests runners with wet shoes, ankle strains, and scratched shins, making it a demanding but rewarding experience. The event also offers shorter distances: Dam Hard 20 km, Beaver Fever 10 km, Horseshoe Hustle 5 km, and a 1 km Kids Fun Run. Aid stations and cutoff times are strategically placed along the course to support participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
