Bear Cupboard Run

Bear Cupboard Run - Minocqua, Wisconsin

The Bear Cupboard Run takes place June 27, 2026, at Torpy Park in downtown Minocqua. The event comprises three running events with routes that use the Bearskin Trail and local roads around Lake Minocqua.

Distances:

• 13.1 Miles Half Marathon
• 5K Run/Walk
• 1K Kids Cubbie Run

The half marathon starts and finishes at Torpy Park. The course heads around Lake Minocqua to Old 70 West and Dr. Pink, joins the Bearskin Trail, continues south to just past Oneida Street, then returns to Torpy Park via the Bearskin Trail.

The 5K starts and finishes at Torpy Park and is an out and back on the Bearskin Trail. The Kids Cubbie Run also starts and finishes at Torpy Park; the route crosses the first trestle on the Bearskin Trail and turns around before the Dr. Pink intersection.

Registration opens January 20, 2026 for all events. Registration closes March 1, 2026 for the half marathon and 5K; kids registration closes on the day of the event. Entry fees listed are $65 for the half marathon, $30 for the 5K, and $15 for the Kids Cubbie Run.
