Bass N' Dash 5K Trail Run

Bass N' Dash is a community trail run/walk held at Winfield City Lake, 10348 141st Rd, Winfield, KS 67156. The event offers adult and 10 and under divisions, each covering a 3.1 mile course that follows the lake shoreline. Registration fees are $25 for adults and $20 for participants 10 and under. Online registration opens April 20 and closes May 28; there is no day-of registration. Registrants who register by May 13 are guaranteed a commemorative event shirt.

The course begins at the Winfield City Lake main entrance, heads down the hill toward the water, follows the shoreline to a midcourse turnaround, then returns along a fence line and up the hill to the finish. Runners should expect grass, gravel, and rocky surfaces, rolling hills, and creek crossings. Two water stations will be provided along the route. Each bib provides all-day lake access for the event day. Registrations include an event shirt (if registered by May 13), an event swag bag, and post-race refreshments. Cash "treasures" are hidden along the trail with prizes of $30, $25, and $20. Top male and female finishers will be recognized in both adult and kids divisions.
