Stump Jump 50K & 10 Miler

The Stump Jump is a trail running event organized by Bad Beard Events in Signal Mountain, near Chattanooga, Tennessee. The course is largely single-track, traversing the Cumberland Plateau and Walden Ridge with views of the Tennessee River Gorge and stream-fed coves lined with hemlock and rhododendron. The event is in its 26th year and offers two distances:

Race services include packet pickup the day before at Hello Monty and at the start/finish area on race morning. No crews or drop bags are allowed, but poles are permitted. All entrants receive a race shirt, a post race meal, and complimentary beer from Dynamo Brewing. A portion of race proceeds benefits Signal Mountain Athletics and Chattanooga Cave and Cliff Rescue.
