The Cowdray Autumn Trail Run takes place on Saturday 11th October 2025 at the Cowdray Estate near Midhurst. It is part of the "Run The Seasons" series and coincides with the Cowdray Farm Shop Apple Day. Race headquarters and parking are at Cowdray Farm Shop & Cafe, GU29 0AJ. Race numbers can be collected on the day.

Canicross categories are offered for the 10 mile, 10 km and 5 km distances. Maps are provided for each course.

Course and event details

All courses are undulating with steep uphill and downhill sections. Surfaces include bridleways, footpaths, the Serpent Trail and the Sussex Diamond Way, plus some sections on private land used for the race. Terrain includes gravel, sand, mud and rocky sections. The 10 km route heads uphill toward Bexley Hill through ancient woodland. The 10 mile route follows the 10 km line initially, then continues along the Serpent Trail through Verdley Wood and Henley before returning for a technical descent. Part of the new 5 km course runs inside the Deer Park among historic trees and notable views.
