Coldwater Rumble
Coldwater Rumble is a trail running event held January 17, 2026 in Goodyear, AZ. The event is based at Estrella Mountain Competitive Track in Estrella Mountain Regional Park, at 14805 West Vineyard Avenue.

The course follows desert trails that wind through the foothills of the Sierra Estrella mountain range. Typical weather at this time of year has average highs in the mid 60s and lows in the low 40s, though storms or cold snaps can occur.
All finishers receive a finisher award. Points earned count toward the Desert Runner Trail Series, and 100 mile finishers receive buckles. The race is listed as the fifth event in the Aravaipa Running Desert Runner Trail Series.
Online registration closes the Monday before the race. Late registration is available at either packet pickup location.
Volunteers are sought for event setup, aid station roles, timing, photography, videography, social media, course sweep and event breakdown. Volunteer perks include a piece of Aravaipa merchandise or a race goody and Aravaipa Race Credits. Reusable cups are available at registration or participants may bring their own.
