Antelope Dash Trail Races
The Antelope Dash is a trail running event at Curt Gowdy State Park near Cheyenne, Wyoming. Courses run through granite boulders, dense pine forests and open meadows, using singletrack with technical sections, climbs and fast descents.
Distances offered include:
- 4-MILE DASH: Rolling hills, ~380 ft elevation gain, $45.
- 8-MILE GRIND: Technical sections and steep climbs, ~750 ft elevation gain, $60.
- HALF MARATHON: Planned for 2027, ~1,800 ft elevation gain, route in development.
The event is cupless; participants must carry a hydration system or reusable cup. Aid stations are stocked with water, electrolyte drinks and basic ultra style snacks such as fruit, pretzels and gummies. Participants receive custom finisher medals, awards and premium race shirts, and a post race celebration follows.
Park day use fees are required for vehicles and are not included in registration. Parking at the trailhead is limited and carpooling is encouraged. Packet pickup is available at the start area on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
