Reindeer Run 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon - Griffith Park
The Reindeer Run takes place at Griffith Park in Los Angeles on December 19, 2026. The start and finish are on a grass area near the Merry Go Round and the corner of Crystal Springs Drive and Fire Road, at 4730 Crystal Springs Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90027. Parking is available in the large lot near the Merry Go Round.
The course is an open, shared trail primarily on hard packed dirt (horse trail) with a brief street crossing. The route is marked with cones and signs; participants are asked to stay to the right and pass on the left. Turnarounds are set off to the side of the trail. An aid station at the turnaround supplies water cups, bottled water, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. A 3 hour 15 minute time limit applies to the half marathon; transfer requests are handled by the organizer and there is a no-refund policy.
