Abermule Point to Point

Maldwyn Harriers stage the Abermule Point to Point on 17 May 2026. The course is a scenic, multi terrain route of approx 5 miles that follows river paths and a canal towpath.

The event starts at Back Lane car park, Newtown SY16 2NH and finishes at Abermule Community Centre, Abermule SY15 6ND.

Runners must be 16 years of age or older. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs and prams. This is a point to point race and no official transport is provided to return athletes to the start, so competitors should make their own arrangements. Entries may be taken on the day.

Entry fees are listed as Club member £10.00, Unattached £12.00 and 18 and under £5. Discounted entry is available for members of WA WA SA ANI EA ARC. The closing date for standard entries is 14 May 2026 at 23:59.

Awards are planned in all categories. Tea, coffee and cake will be available at the community centre. Donations will be sought for Wales Air Ambulance. Participants confirm they are medically fit, must be amateur runners and agree to abide by UKA laws. Course measurement certificate is not applicable and a permit has been applied for.
