About the race
The Abbotts Ann Trail Runs, hosted by Muddy Runners, take place in the scenic Hampshire countryside near Andover, specifically at Bulbery Sports Fields, Abbotts Ann. The event features challenging yet beautiful undulating trail routes with spectacular views across the Test Valley. Participants can choose between 5k and 10k distances, including a canicross option.
The course is a mix of trail, tarmac, dirt, and single tracks with obstacles such as overhanging trees and rough terrain, making trail shoes recommended. The event is cupless, encouraging runners to bring their own cups. Facilities include water stations, refreshments, toilets, first aid, and parking.
