6 Hours of Power (John Bryan State Park)

The event takes place on Saturday May 9, 2026 at John Bryan State Park in Yellow Springs, Ohio. It is a timed, loop-based trail running event held at the park's Lower Stone Shelter.

Participants run repeated 5K loops along a marked trail. Each 5K loop counts as one lap; the official race result records the total number of loops completed within six hours. A runner who completes at least four loops is recorded as having officially finished the race; the official race time for those finishers is the time at completion of the fourth loop. The overall winner is the participant who completes the most loops in six hours.

The course starts and finishes at the Lower Stone Shelter. The 5K loop has approximately 180 feet of elevation gain and uses mixed terrain and trail surfaces. Course markings include color coded flags, cones, and arrows. There is no water station along the route; aid station support is available at the start/finish area before beginning subsequent loops. A GPX map is provided for the 5K loop.

Race registration includes a race bib, a finisher medal, a race sticker, timing and posted results, and sponsor products. The event is held under special use authorization from John Bryan State Park. Information about multi-event Pack Pass membership and event scheduling is available from the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
