Event Information
The 12hr Frenzy is an overnight endurance event that serves as a fundraiser for the Coastal MS Wildcats Track & Field Program. It takes place at the Harrison County Fairgrounds in Gulfport, Mississippi.
The Format
Participants must complete a 2 km (1.24 mile) trail loop at the top of every hour for 12 consecutive hours. Completing all 12 laps results in a total distance of 24 km (approximately 15 miles). The event occurs after dark, and a headlamp is required.
Event Details
The participation fee is $35. Proceeds from the event go directly to support the youth athletics program. Finishers receive a custom dog tag. Participants are encouraged to bring tents or camp chairs for rest between loops, and there will be several fire pits. Attendees must provide their own food and water.
