Live Oak Ultra

Live Oak Ultra is a running event organized by Rougarou Running with start and finish at Altered Reality Brewing in Biloxi, Mississippi. The event offers two distances:

• 50K
• Half Marathon

The route runs along the Biloxi beachfront, past the Biloxi Lighthouse, across the Biloxi-Ocean Springs bridge and through Downtown Ocean Springs, Front and East Beaches, and the Gulf Islands National Seashore State Park before returning to Biloxi. The course is an urban route with pocket-sized turn cards, chalk markings for turns, and a GPX file provided once the route is finalized. Participants are advised to use a phone map app or a watch with GPX capability for navigation.

Aid and crew support: there will be approximately six aid locations stocked with water, Hammer Nutrition products, fruit, and snacks. All official stations will have a restroom available. Personal crew access is allowed and runners may use local businesses along the route, including Tato Nut Donuts on Government Street. Drop bags are permitted at specified aid stations; runners should label bags and avoid boxes.

Awards and results: all finishers receive a unique award. The 50K awards include top three male and female overall and age-division awards. The Half Marathon awards include top three male and female overall; no age-group awards are listed for the Half Marathon. The organizer publishes results via the Ultrasignup timing system.

The organizer’s refund policy: full refunds of registration fees are available up to 14 days before the event, excluding taxes and platform fees; refunds later may be issued if a replacement entrant fills the spot.
