Live Oak Ultra

Live Oak Ultra in Biloxi, MS is a supported running event organized by Rougarou Running that includes a 50K and a half-marathon. The urban coastal route passes the Biloxi Lighthouse, follows the beach boardwalk, crosses the bridge to Ocean Springs and visits Front and East Beaches and Gulf Islands National Seashore State Park. The start and finish are at Altered Reality Brewing in downtown Biloxi where there is a post‑race gathering.

The event uses navigational files and on-course markings rather than frequent signs. GPX files are provided for both distances and runners are advised to load them to a phone map app or watch; pocket-sized turn cards will also be available. Neon tape will indicate turns and the route is described as having relatively low traffic. There are approximately six aid locations offering water, Hammer Nutrition products, fruit and snack items, and some additional food options. Some aid stations include restrooms. Personal crew support is permitted and public businesses along the route may also be used.

Drop bags are allowed at selected stations only. The 50K has a 10 hour completion window. All finishers receive awards; the 50K also offers top overall and age division awards, and the half‑marathon awards top finishers. Registration closes January 28. The organizer publishes a refund policy that allows full refunds up to 14 days before the race with certain fees nonrefundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
