Haughley Festival of Running
The event returns for its fifth year at Haughley Park in Suffolk, with parking directed to postcode IP30 9RS while the venue address is listed as IP14 3JY. The site is described as self contained with exclusive use of the main area and open space.
Multiple race distances are offered:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Full Marathon
- Ultra Marathon
Distances use a lap format for longer events. A heavy half marathon is offered as a five lap standard with the option to change to six or seven laps on the day. An ultra marathon is offered as a nine lap standard with the option to increase laps subject to available time, up to around twelve laps. Event cut offs apply, with both six hour and four hour limits used depending on start slot.
The route runs through the grounds of Haughley Park and is mainly pathway with short sections of trails and woodland. A water and aid station is located at the lap point. Parking is included and secure onsite, with attendants directing vehicles and guiding runners to registration and the start area. Finishers receive a bespoke event medal or, when available, a lucky dip medal option. The event is cupless so participants should plan for their own refillable cups or bottles.
