Yorkshire Weekend Saunter Series in Leeds
The event starts at Granary Wharf, LS1 4ED, and follows the Leeds Liverpool Canal towpath on a flat out and back route through Kirkstall and beyond. The course runs on good trail and towpath surfaces and has a calm, traffic free feel with canal side views. Aid stations are positioned approximately every 3 miles and the route is fully marshalled.
Race bibs are collected on the day at registration near the canal where toilet facilities are available. The nearest rail access is Leeds Station, with the start located close behind the station. There is no parking at the start and finish area; several city centre car parks are within walking distance and car sharing is recommended.
Events are licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UKA rules. The organiser provides a bespoke finisher medal and finish area treats. The event operates as a cup less format at feed stations; participants are asked to bring a reusable bottle or cup. Large over ear headphones are not permitted for safety reasons; bone conduction or single ear use is allowed. Marshals can assist runners who are injured or wish to retire. Transfers and deferrals are managed through the organiser with deferrals permitted up to seven days before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
