Woods Park Twilight Runs 4th Annual
Woods Park Twilight Runs is an evening community running event held at Woods Park in Lincoln, Nebraska on October 24, 2026. The event is presented by Lincoln Track Club, INK ALLEY, FLEET FEET LINCOLN, Lincoln Running Company, The Corner Kitchen, and El Tejano Style.
Races use a multi‑loop course run cross country style on grass at Woods Park. The event is organized as multiple laps of the same loop so friends and family can watch from a fixed area. Runners are asked to stay to the right except to pass, as some participants will be lapped during the 5K.
On‑site amenities and logistics noted by the organizer include:
- Packet pickup on race day at the shelter near the playground.
- On‑time registrants receive gloves in youth and adult sizes and a drink koozy; extras will be ordered but swag is not guaranteed after the registration deadline.
- Food trucks will be available after the runs, including Korner Kitchen and ChiStyle Trucks.
- Parking is available in nearby lots south of the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health building, west and south of the Kiwanis ball field, east of the Woods tennis and pool, and on Rogers Memorial Drive with attention to no parking signs.
- The event may support the Lincoln Food Bank with food donations; details will be provided later.
- Cancellation only for severe inclement weather, for example lightning, and there are no refunds for weather cancellations.
