Wolkberg Trail Run 2026
Wolkberg Trail Run 2026 is a multi-distance trail event held at Stanford Lake College in Heanertsburg, Limpopo on 8 and 9 August 2026. The event includes single-day and two-day options centred on mountain trails around the Wolkberg area.
Available race options include:
- 65 km Stage race over two days
- 42 km Mountain Marathon on Saturday
- 25 km Trail on Sunday
- 10 km Trail on Sunday
- 5 km Fun Run on Sunday
Stage entrants are automatically included in the Mountain Marathon and Saturday entries are capped at 60 runners. Routes are marked and most racing classes include medical support, official timing, photography and a finishers medal. Support station provision varies by distance: the 65 km, 42 km and 25 km classes have three support stations, the 10 km has two, and the 5 km is a non-timed fun run without prizes.
Race administration includes registration and route briefings on the days prior to and during the event. Camping is offered on site with 50 self-catering grass pitches (4 m x 4 m) for a two-night stay; facilities include ablutions and a communal braai area with braai grids and electricity. Merchandise and a limited edition 2026 dri-fit race shirt are available, with garment orders and some promotional items subject to a 30 June 2026 closing date.
