Windham Woods School Thankful Trails 5K Run & Walk
Windham Woods School hosts its 3rd annual Thankful Trails 5K Run & Walk on November 14, 2026, at 39 Roulston Road, Windham, NH. The main event is a scenic 5K (3.1 miles) conducted as a two-loop course across trails on the school campus. Trails are thin and uneven in places; the course is not accessible to strollers. Dogs are not permitted at the event.
A free Kids Fun Run is offered for children age 8 and under on the lower field. Participants in the fun run receive a ribbon; shirts are not provided for that event. All 5K registrants receive one raffle ticket as part of their registration and additional raffle tickets are available for purchase. The event is limited to 200 participants. Shirt sizes can be guaranteed for registrations submitted by October 15; registrations after that date receive shirts as available.
An awards ceremony and a communal lunch are scheduled after the race. Organizers also maintain a fundraising component associated with Windham Woods School; funds raised to date total $189.79. Volunteer roles are used to support the event and volunteers receive assignment details by email prior to race day.
