Wayland / HFC Striders XC Festival
The Wayland / HFC Striders XC Festival is a cross-country event held in Wayland, Massachusetts. The course runs through fields and wooded trails and benefits the Wayland Cross Country teams. The festival includes multiple youth and open races and features age classes and team competitions with awards.
Races include:
- 3 km youth races, three separate events
- 5 km open races, two separate events
Spectators can view competitors during many parts of the courses. The event awards trophies and medals for youth age groups and provides team prizes. Last year the open race prizes for individuals, teams, and a free raffle exceeded $4,000 through sponsor support. The open 5 km race is part of the USATF-NE XC Grand Prix for 2026.
