Way Too Cool 50K & 10 Mile Endurance Runs 2027
The Way Too Cool event takes place in Cool, CA on March 6, 2027 and includes two trail distances. The 50K is presented as the 37th annual running of the race. The 10-mile trail run is in its second year and follows the same Northern California terrain.
The course features rolling hills, creek crossings where feet will get wet, and varied views through rugged, wooded terrain. Organized by NorCalUltras, the event offers aid stations stocked with hydration and gels, professional timing and on-course support from volunteers.
Entry for participants includes a WTC California State parking pass valid for race day only, a NorCalUltras goody bag, a technical race shirt, a handcrafted finisher medallion, Neversecond C30 energy gels and Skratch hydration on course, a signature frog cupcake, post-race party amenities, Nadia's Mac Shack, and a beverages and beer garden for those 21 and over. Packet pickup is available the day before at Fleet Feet Folsom and on race day in Cool.
Registration opens July 31, 2026 and closes March 1, 2027. Entry fees are non-refundable and entries are non-transferable; a paid Refund Protection Program is available for eligible refund requests. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
