Wandering Wolves 50k/25k/12k : Kansas City, KS
The event takes place on September 26, 2026 at Shelter 16 in Wyandotte County Lake Park, Kansas City, KS, and is organized by Wyco Wolfpack. It offers multiple trail distances and a looped course that stays largely on single track trails.

The course is described as a large, winding clockwise loop that uses nearly all single track trails in the park. The only paved or non-single-track section is the crossing of the lake dam. There are some rocks and roots on the route, but the trail is not described as highly technical. No bridle trail is involved. Shelter 16 is located near Shelter 14, across from the archery range and dog park.
Race logistics note that registration includes a race shirt, aid, catered food, and beer. A properly sized T-shirt is guaranteed for entries completed by September 13; entries after that date may not receive a guaranteed size. A finisher hat is provided for 50k participants. All distances receive a custom medal and sticker with distance and date. Race day signup is available but swag items and sizes are not guaranteed. Event photography will be provided by Mile 90.
