Alternate Chili Ten Mile Trail Run
The Alternate Chili Ten Mile Trail Run is scheduled for January 17, 2027 in Kansas City, KS. The start location is Shelter #2 at Wyandotte County Lake Park. The course is a very hilly 10 mile loop and will be well marked with limited aid stations. The event is limited to 100 entrants.
The race is presented as a taste of the Psycho WyCo course and is positioned as a training run for the Psycho Wyco event in February. Timing is provided and the organizers offer free race photos.
Included with entry are chili, event swag, finisher's hardware and an oval finisher sticker. Unique chili-pot awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers, and first place male and female receive free entry into the 2026 Psycho Wyco race.
Entry fee is listed as $50 from the current registration period through race day. Registration closes January 15. Packet pickup is available day of race only. Human pacers are not allowed; leashed canine pacers are permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
