Alternate Chili Ten Mile Trail Run
The event takes place on January 17, 2027 in Kansas City, KS, and is organized by Trail Nerds. The start location is Shelter #2 at Wyandotte County Lake Park.
The course is a 10 mile loop run on the Psycho WyCo course and has been held on that course since 2001. The route is described as very hilly, will be well marked, and will have limited aid stations.
The race is limited to 100 entrants. Timing is provided. Packet pickup is available on the day of the race only. Human pacers are not allowed; well behaved, leashed canine pacers are permitted.
Included with entry are race swag, finisher hardware, a finisher oval sticker, and free photos. The event features chili described as beefy and rich and offers unique chili pot awards for first through third place male and female finishers. The first place male and female finishers receive free entry into the 2026 Psycho WyCo race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
