Alternate Chili Ten Mile Trail Run
The event is a trail race held on January 17, 2027, at Shelter #2, Wyandotte County Lake Park, Kansas City, KS. The course is a very hilly 10 mile loop run on the Psycho WyCo course and has been run in this format since 2001. The field is limited to 100 entrants.
The course will be well marked and offer limited aid. Timing is provided. Packet pickup is available on race day only. No human pacers are allowed; well behaved and leashed canine pacers are permitted.
Event extras listed by the organizer include chili described as beefy and rich, participant swag, finisher hardware, an oval finisher sticker, unique chili pot awards for first through third place male and female finishers, and free race photos. The organizer also notes free entry into the Psycho WyCo race for first place male and female finishers. Entry fee is listed as $50 through race day. Registration is scheduled to close on January 15.
