Veterans Day Fun Run - Carson City
The Veterans Day Fun Run is a community running event on 11/11/2026 in Carson City, Nevada. The event takes place at Riverview Park near 600 Marsh Rd and features two timed and untimed options through park trails.
Course details note a repeating park loop for the longer distance and a shorter park loop for the mile event. The 5K uses the Full Loop through Riverview Park twice and is described as a fast, flat course through wetland scenery. The 1 Mile follows a single loop through Riverview Park.

Entry fees are listed as $35 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 Mile. A $10 discount on the 5K is available to veterans, active duty military, and students. Participants receive finish items as noted for each distance. Awards are presented to top finishers in 5K student and adult categories by gender, and a prize is given for the Most Patriotic Outfit.
Event facilities include on site porta potty units, no water stations on course, and water bottles and snacks at the finish. If the park lot is full, neighborhood parking is used with requests not to block driveways.
