UTAH 115 by Grand to Grand Ultra
UTAH 115 is a multi day ultrarunning event held in Kanab, Utah from May 14 to 16, 2027. The event offers three out-and-back race distances:
- 115 Miles : 50 hour cutoff
- 50 Miles : 20 hour cutoff
- 50K : 13 hour cutoff
Courses run through high desert terrain on the Colorado Plateau and include hard packed sand, soft sand, sand dunes, Coral Pink Sand Dunes on the 115 mile route, forest trails, red rock climbs, rocky roads, double track, plateaus and canyons. The start and finish are located in Kanab at an elevation of about 4,970 feet.
Aid stations provide water, electrolyte drinks, soda, hot drinks at night, daytime food items and hot evening meals at some stations. Some aid stations include shared tent space with sleeping pads and blankets and have a three hour sleep limit. Cell service may be unavailable at remote aid stations. Course markings use reflective markers, LED lights and glow sticks; a GPX file will be available for navigation. Race entries include branded race gear and sponsors products; finishers receive buckles or medals by distance. Entry fees vary by distance and registration date and are subject to processing fees and Utah sales tax. Drop bag limits, size restrictions and crewing rules are specified by the organizer.
