Grand to Grand Ultra 2027 : event summary
The Grand to Grand Ultra 2027 is the 14th edition of a multi-day stage footrace held in Northern Arizona and Southern Utah, USA from 19 to 25 September 2027. The overall course covers 275 km across seven days and six stages, traversing high desert terrain including sand dunes, slot canyons, buttes, mesas and hoodoos.
Entry details include an individual fee of US$ 4,300 with a US$ 1,000 deposit required to confirm a quota place. The remaining balance is due by 19 May 2027 or may be paid in full at application. Teams of two or three may register; team membership must be noted on applications and is subject to additional rules. Category options are Self Supported or Supported, and a category switch must be notified in writing by 30 June 2027. Registration closes 30 June 2027 or earlier if quotas fill.
Participants must be in Kanab, Utah by 16 September 2027. Chartered bus transfers to and from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas are offered on set dates for a fee of US$ 130 one way; the drive time is about four hours and Kanab is one hour ahead of Las Vegas time.
The entry fee covers specified ground transport, shared hotel nights on selected dates, campsite tent space, selected meals and on course services such as medical support, luggage storage, a race book, finisher awards and a race shirt.
