Ultra Fest - Easton, Washington
Ultra Fest is a rail-trail ultramarathon weekend held in Easton, Washington in the Central Cascades. The event takes place in September and uses the Easton Fire Station as basecamp with start and finish at that location.
The course follows a wide, smooth gravel rail trail along the Yakima River, Lake Easton, and the shoreline of Keechelus Lake. The route features minimal technical terrain and limited elevation change, with a highly runnable surface and predictable footing. The course has five aid station locations and on-site medical support.
Distances offered:
- 25K
- 50K
- 50 Mile
- 100K
- 100 Mile
Race logistics emphasize crew access and a centralized aid station hub at Easton Fire Station. Drop bags are permitted for the 100 Mile and 100K at Hyak, Easton, and Cle Elum; the 50 Mile also allows drop bags at Hyak and Easton. No drop bags are allowed for the 50K or 25K. Packet pick-up occurs at the start/finish area on race day and day-of race registration is available.
All entrants receive a technical long-sleeve race shirt. Finish awards vary by distance: medals for the 25K and 50K, belt buckles for 50 Mile, 100K and 100 Mile finishers, and a hoodie for 100 Mile finishers. The event is produced by the Run Super Series team. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
