About the race
Cascade Crest is a 100-mile endurance trail race held in the Cascade Mountains of Washington. The event centers on a recurring community of Race Directors, volunteers, HAM radio operators, and runners who return year after year. The race begins and finishes at the Easton Fire House, and finish-line crowds commonly cheer "Welcome back to Easton" as runners cross the line.
The event operates under a special use permit through the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. The race listing shows the event date of July 16, 2027, and notes that the 2027 lottery opens on December 6. Organizers indicate an alternate out and back course is highly likely for 2027. The site also records geographic coordinates 47° 14' 4.812'' N, 121° 10' 42.06'' W. In addition, the 2025 edition of the race was selected as a qualifying race for the 2026 Western States 100; runners who complete Cascade Crest within 32 hours qualify to enter the Western States lottery.
