Ultra Adelaide : race overview
Ultra Adelaide is a multi-distance trail ultra held in Adelaide, South Australia, with routes that start in the Adelaide Hills and finish beside the River Torrens near Adelaide Oval. The event offers five distances across hill and native-bush terrain, and several distances are official UTMB Index races.

Course support and logistics are provided throughout the event. The 100 Miler course includes 10 manned full-service aid stations supplying water, Tailwind nutrition, Coke, fruit and snacks. Drop bags are permitted for the 50K, 100K and 100 Miler and must fit a supermarket cooler bag; runners hand them in at check-in for delivery to designated aid stations.
Mandatory kit requirements vary by distance. 100M, 100K and 50K participants must carry items such as a mobile phone, GPX file, first aid supplies, waterproof jacket, whistle, headlamp and minimum 1,000 ml liquids. 34K runners have a reduced mandatory kit list including a phone and space blanket.
Transport to start lines uses shuttle buses; transport is included for some distances while other seats incur a nominal fee. Entry fees are tiered by release period and differ by distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
