Twisted Trail 10k
Twisted Trail 10k takes place on May 1, 2027 at New London Tech Trails in Forest, Virginia. The event is the 7th annual running of this race and includes a trail race of 10 km plus a virtual run option that can be completed anywhere.
Because of construction at New London Tech Trails the course will differ from prior years; the organizers are developing a new route while keeping the distance at 10 km. The start and finish area will be in a grass field on the right side of the large roundabout as one drives in from the main road.
Bedford County Parks and Recreation are listed as hosts. The onsite program includes age group awards and postrace food and fellowship. Event apparel is available in male and female sizes; shirts are guaranteed to those registered by April 7. For the virtual option, registrants who register by that date will receive the race shirt; registrants after that date receive a Mountain Junkies LLC socks Hoo Rag similar to a Buff. The virtual entry also counts as one of the RNUTS qualifying races.
Published registration fees in the event details are $35.00 for the in-person 10K, $25.00 for the virtual run, and a bundled entry shown with a $0.00 fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
