2026 Turkey Trot Trail 5k & 10k
The event is a trail run held on Thanksgiving Day at Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary near Gainesville, Florida. It is presented by LLOYD CLARKE SPORTS and offers two distance options on natural terrain through the sanctuary's fields, forests, and single track trails. The course is a 3.1 mile loop with open pasture views; 10k participants complete the loop twice.
Registration details include standard fees and a higher day-of rate without a T-shirt. Online registration opens July 7, 2026 and closes November 12, 2026. Packet pick-up time and location are to be determined. Registration and check-in take place at Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary on race day.
Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2016. The property covers 210 acres, with about 125 acres maintained as a wildlife preserve; the remaining land houses rescued farm animals such as pigs, donkeys, and cows. The site is a vegan property, and all post-race foods and refreshments will be free of animal products. A portion of race registration fees will be donated to the sanctuary.
