About the race
The Trunce 4 fell race takes place on Monday 31 May 2027 in the Peak District, based at Oxspring Playing Field, Oxspring, Sheffield. The event is a British Schools category race and it holds a permit with UK Athletics insurance from the FRA. It forms part of an eight-race series with series trophies awarded to places one, two and three in junior, senior and combined veteran categories; there are no prizes awarded for individual races.
The main course is 6.2 km / 3.9 miles with 190 m / 623 ft of climb. Additional course details include the venue grid reference SE272012 and the listed skills codes PM and LK. The minimum age for the main event is 16.
Entry is available on the day with a fee of £3.00; there is no pre-entry option. Junior races are held for over-10s with a 3 km course and an entry fee of £1. Teams are not permitted.
