About the race

Queer Mountaineers and Seattle Frontrunners organize a trail run and walk at Discovery Park, meeting at the park North Parking Lot near 24 Texas Way in Seattle, WA. The event offers separate running and walking routes and is described as a no drop run, which means participants are not left alone regardless of pace.

Distances available:

  • 3.5 miles (running option; event materials also note about 2.8 miles and ~150 ft elevation gain)
  • 1.5 miles (walking option)

The event is open to non-cis men, including transmasculine and masculine nonbinary people. A waiver is required before attending. Ticketing is donation based; the organizer notes donations help support the volunteer-run organization but cost should not be a barrier. Registration closes 48 hours before the event and refunds are available up to seven days before the event.

After the run or walk, participants may gather at Lucy's Bottle Shop for refreshments and social time. The organizer presents the activity as in person and volunteer led. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
