Absolution Run : St. Edward State Park, Kenmore, WA
Absolution Run is a trail event held on January 3, 2027 at St. Edward State Park in Kenmore, Washington. The event offers two distance options:
- 4-mile
- 8-mile
The course begins on a wide trail that leads onto swoopy, twisting single track and drops down to run along the lakeshore before returning uphill. Four-mile runners complete one loop; eight-mile runners complete two loops. The aid station is located next to the finish and sits near the halfway point for eight-mile participants. Available refreshments include water, Skratch Labs electrolyte drink, and a variety of carbohydrate-rich or salty foods such as cookies, energy bar pieces, gels, chews, chips, bagels, fig bars, and bananas.
Parking is provided in park lots near the start and finish; the closest lot is reserved for hotel staff. If park lots fill, an alternate northwest lot at Bastyr University is available, about a 0.4 mile (0.7 km) walk to event headquarters. A Discover Pass is required to park at St. Edward State Park; one-day and annual pass options are available.
Youth runners under 20 are eligible for a $10 discount on online pre-registration or event-day entry. Event apparel is offered for purchase at the event, with short sleeve, long sleeve, and hoodie options at listed prices. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
