Tortoise and the Hare Trail Races
The Tortoise and the Hare Trail Races take place at Lions Park, 8 Lions Way, Salisbury, Massachusetts, on March 27, 2027. The event brings together about 500 participants each year to raise funds for Salisbury Parks and Recreation. It is an early season trail running and community event.

- 5K, 3.1 miles, $25, registration Jun 15 to Dec 31 2026
- 1 mile Color Run, 1 mile, $25, not timed, registration Jun 15 to Mar 26 2027
The 1 Mile Color Run is a non-timed event. At each quarter mile mark runners are doused in a different colored powder; participants are asked to wear white at the start and finish covered in color. Registration windows and fees are specified for each distance. The event is organized to support the town parks and recreation program.
