Timberview Trail Run - Lory State Park, Colorado
Timberview Trail Run is scheduled for June 26, 2027, at Lory State Park in Bellvue, Colorado. The 2027 edition is the eighth annual running of this trail event. The venue address is 708 N Co Rd 25G, Bellvue, CO 80512. The race is USATF sanctioned and is presented as a 100 percent plant based event.
Three trail distances are offered:
- 10 mile - double loop of the 5 mile course.
- 5 mile - more technical terrain, increased turns and greater elevation gain.
- 5K - easier intro to trail running and beginner friendly for kids.
Courses are scenic, running among treetops with views of Horsetooth Reservoir, Fort Collins and the foothills. All distances share the same aid stations, which provide water, fuel and electrolyte drink in biodegradable cups. Aid stations also include dog water bowls. The organizer notes that courses may be adjusted for weather and provides alternate wet-weather routes.
Parking at the park can be limited; volunteers will assist with parking and a parking pass is associated with race bibs. Athletes are responsible for knowing course routes and layouts. Registration is available in advance, at the Friday bib pickup, and on race morning. Participant items include an event shirt, finisher medal, race bib, free event photos, post-race food and drinks, and professional chip timing.
