Thompson Millennium Green 10k & 5k
The event takes place in and around Thompson on 04/10/2026 and follows pathways, lanes and bridleways across mixed terrain. Marshals will be positioned on the course and an ambulance will be on site for medical support.
Distances
- 10 km entrants 15 years or older; affiliated £18, unaffiliated £20
- 5 km entrants 11 years or older; affiliated £14, unaffiliated £16
Entries are non-refundable; transfers to another runner are permitted until 28/09/2026. The 10 km and 5 km runs are not chip timed. A run cut-off time applies to both distances at 12.30pm. Registration opens at Thompson Community Hall from 9.30am.
Facilities include refreshments, toilets, parking, an unattended baggage area and a large children’s play area. Parking is in clearly signposted areas near the community hall; roadside parking must be avoided. Water is available at about 6 km and at the finish; runners are asked to bring a refillable bottle where possible. Bespoke medals are given to all runners and trophies are awarded to the first three men and women in each race.
In-ear headphones are banned; bone conducting headphones are permitted if marshal instructions can be heard. A photographer will normally take event photos. All profits support the Thompson Millennium Green Charitable Trust. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
