About the race
The Wroxall School Run is a community running event held at Wroxall Primary School in Wroxall on the Isle of Wight. It is the event's second year and takes place in person with an expected duration of about two hours. The start and finish are at the primary school.
The event includes these distances:
- 5 km family fun run
- 1 km children's run
The 5 km route follows the same course as the previous year and offers views over the village and the downs. The course covers multiple terrains and includes a couple of friendly hills. Proceeds go to Wroxall Primary School and its Robins group to support learning and growth for the pupils. The school received a GOOD rating at its most recent Ofsted inspection and is located in a rural area with a strong community.
Tickets are offered for a range of prices and refunds are available up to seven days before the event. The event is organised by Emma and Maya events and is an in-person, offline sporting occasion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
