The Pie & Pea 5km Event 2027
The Pie & Pea 5km Event takes place on 7 April 2027 at Trimdon Grange Community Centre, Salters Lane, Kielder Drive, Trimdon Grange, Co. Durham TS29 6PB. The event is a trail run over a 5 km route set on woodland paths and meandering tracks, with sections around a pond and a mix of gravel, grass and some undulating terrain that can include muddy patches.
Entry is open to participants aged 12 and over. Two pie options are provided at the finish: steak or vegetable/vegan. Prizes are awarded to the first, second and third placed male and female finishers. The event is licensed by the TRA and held under UK Athletics Rules.
The organiser has stated that deferrals are no longer offered for this event. Entry fees are listed as Attached £12.00 and Unattached £14.00. The event is organised by Muddy Roads and staged as a midweek community trail run with a postrun pie provision at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
