The Other Run takes place on Sunday 25 April 2027 at Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX. The event offers multiple measured road distances on mainly quiet roads, with course details as follows.

  • 5k turnaround course
  • 10k turnaround course
  • Half marathon one loop using the Windmill Route
  • Marathon one loop using the Kirtling Route, officially measured, fully on road, mildly undulating and scenic

The marathon has a seven-hour cut off. Aid stations with drinks and nibbles are provided approximately every 10 km, and a water/aid station is also located at the race headquarters and lap point. Parking is included in the entry price. The event operates as a mass start and uses road and pavement surfaces; participants are advised to be aware of traffic and to wear bright clothing for visibility. The event is cupless, so participants must bring their own bottles or cups for refilling.

Maximum entrants are limited to 300 and the minimum age for entry is 18 years. Entries close on 23 April 2027. Finishers receive a bespoke event medal or, where available, a lucky dip finisher option using previous event medals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
