The Endurance Series runs hourly loops with each loop leaving on the hour and counts each completed loop; the 48 Hour and 12 Hour challenges also state every loop counts. The continuous-clock events record 3.1 mile splits and allow pacers after the fourth loop, one pacer at a time. A central aid station at Shelter 1 is stocked every loop with cookies, candies, chips, pickles, potatoes, fresh fruit, water, some warm food during the night, and a ready-to-mix endurance drink; gels are not provided. Packet pickup and required pre-race briefings occur on December 31 and on race morning at Shelter 1. The park offers green space for gear and some space under Shelter 1; overnight camping is not normally allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
