The Hoot Half Marathon and 10K Trail Race
The event takes place on September 6, 2026 at the Rocks and Roots Trail in Alum Creek State Park, Lewis Center, Ohio. The start area is located just off Hollenback Road, south of the dog park (3993 Hollenback Rd, Lewis Center, OH 43035).

Registration uses tiered entry fees that increase as the event approaches. The published fee schedule begins at $45 and rises in steps through race week up to $70. The organizer states a no refund and no bib transfer policy.
Packet pickup is handled in advance at Fleet Feet Sports in Lewis Center during normal business hours, with additional pickup at the race site on the day of the event. Registered participants receive an event shirt and an event medal.
The course description notes a north loop run first in a clockwise direction for approximately 10K, then a south loop run counter-clockwise for about 10K, followed by an additional roughly 0.7 mile loop to complete the half marathon. The course layout is subject to change.
