The Muddy Duck
The Muddy Duck is a trail race day on April 3, 2027 at the Rocks and Roots Trail in Alum Creek State Park, with the start area located just off Hollenback Road near the dog park (3993 Hollenback Rd, Lewis Center, OH 43035).

The course uses the park's north and south loops. Runners complete loops in alternating order to reach their chosen distance. The 6K follows an abbreviated version of the north loop, taking a shortcut at the one mile mark and rejoining the main trail after a short emergency access segment. Course layout is subject to change.
Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Columbus in Lewis Center on the Thursday and Friday before the race during normal business hours, and on race day at the trailhead. There is a course closure and specific lap start requirements for 50K participants.
Registration prices increase over time: through December 31 $45, January 1-31 $50, February 1-28 $55, March 1-31 $60, and April 1 through race day $70. The event has a no refund and no bib transfer policy. Parking is available in lots around the start area and in the Marina parking lot for those not running the 50K. Participants receive an event shirt and an event medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
